Shopping Procedure

 

User registration is not a pre-requisite for a purchase in our webshop, it should, however, be noted that we do not keep record of non-registered customers and as such they cannot participate in our loyal customer programme.

The prime objective of registration is to make shopping simpler and to be able to make use of the convenience services and special offers of our webshop. We treat the delivery and statistical data provided as personal data. Data necessary for the optimal execution of the order are transferred to the courier service.

Orders can be placed after logging in to the webshop. After logging in users can view and modify their data.

It is important that you enter changes in your delivery data before placing your order!

Selecting and finding items – The items are categorized into product groups in order to make selection easier. Visitors are navigated through the webshop with the help of main product groups (e.g. products for men) and sub-groups (e.g. hooded tops). With the help of the built in quick filter the required product can be found instantaneously by name.

Product information -  The name of the product, its article number, price, and the colour variations and sizes in stock can be found next to each product. The composition of the product’s material, its characteristics and technical parameters are briefly described.

Choosing an item, cart – The chosen item can be added to the cart by clicking on the icon next to the product. A list of “items in the cart” appears showing all items selected sofar, the unit price and the total value of the order. At this point quantities can still be increased or reduced, items may be deleted from the cart or you can carry on with your shopping.

If you are not a registered customer yet, you must enter the invoicing and delivery details when placing the order.

 

Discounts – You will constantly find special offers in our webshop. The special offer is valid subject to the availability of the given item.



Our loyalty programme is no longer only available in our shops but also in our webshop. By entering your loyalty card number you will receive the discount set out in the policy document.



Please note when making use of the discounts:

·         In the case of special offers no further (special/loyalty) discounts apply.

  • Fixed period/expiry discounts are only valid and applicable for the given period.
  • A combination or cumulation of discounts (special/loyalty) is not possible.

Choosing your mode of payment – If you order from the Hungarian version of our webshop and the goods are to be delivered to a Hungarian address you can choose to pay C.O.D., by PayPal or credit card when placing your order. If the door-to-door delivery address is outside Hungary only credit card payment can be chosen.

Submitting the order – You can place your order by clicking on the icon. Customers are sent a confirmation e-mail of their order. Should such e-mail not be received please advise our customer service.

It may happen that certain items are not available in sufficient quantities to serve all our customers. In such event our customer service will inform you and offer you alternatives by e-mail or on the phone number given.

Delivery – Inland parcels are delivered by GLS Courier Service on week-days between 8 am and 5 pm without prior arrangement by phone (therefore we suggest your workplace as delivery address).

Product exchange, money back – Should you find some quality problems with any of the items purchased from us please send it back to the address of our customer service. Our staff will do everything possible to eliminate the problem. Should an exchange of the item or a refund be necessary we will notify you by e-mail without delay and inform you about the steps to follow. Mistakes and misunderstandings during the purchase can lead to claims. In the case of every claim we proceed according to our business policy. We react to every opinion received and – keeping our customers’ interest in mind – we treat every problem with the greatest flexibility, should we or our suppliers be at fault.

Ordering from abroad – We also accept orders from abroad but for this you have to visit the English version of our webshop by clicking on the small English flag on the Hungarian page or through our English website: www.heavytools.com.

When ordering from outside Hungary you can pay by credit card. You can reach the website of the K&H bank by clicking on the link to be found on the page confirming your order, where you can pay for your purchase by providing your card details.

Combination of orders – Unfortunately our IT system does not make it possible to combine orders placed on different days.
